The RPET station network was brought together on an end-to-end encrypted corporate VPN backbone. Data moving between the dealers and head office was carried into a single secure channel, matching the flow required by EPDK board decision 10338.
Each station joins the backbone with a standard branch profile, so automation, camera and office traffic do not mix inside the same tunnel. The centre watches line and tunnel health across every site from one panel.
The migration was phased so that station operations never stopped. Adding a station is no longer designed from scratch each time; it is a standard commissioning step.
